Here’s a pretty neat blog I found today, it teaches you how to play guitar online. I found it quite helpful, especially with chords. They do a really good job showing you how to learn how to play guitar chords and sets. I’m not a really big fan of their website layout but the content is second to none.

Out of town

I was out of town last year for our wedding anniversary.  So I told my wife I would make up for it this year, and I have to give myself extra credit for this one.  We stayed at the Mayfair Hotel and Spa right off of down town Miami. I had reserved the deluxe executive suite for the whole weekend.  It turned out to be one of our best getaways yet.  The suite was just gorgeous and really gave our weekend a real intimate vibe.  I know the weekend went by way too fast.  I don’t know if I will be able to ever top it again.

My Daughter’s Gift

My daughter is very gifted in art. She is hoping to get a scholarship to a really good art and design school next September. She has to submit a draft of her artwork to determine if she gets a scholarship or not. She decided to do a sketch of 3 steel buildings overlooking a beautiful overflowing water fountain. Her attention to detail was flawless. The colors she used to make the skyline was gorgeous. The buildings looked like they glistened. The fountain looked so real. I really hope she gets the scholarship. I am so proud of her, regardless of how it turns out.

Tomorrow another website that my husband worked on is going to go live. He was pretty excited about being able to help with this one, the business owner is the brother of an old friend of his. My husband works for a company that specializes in the websites for small businesses. They do web design, Internet marketing and even offline consulting.
