Driver On Marijuana and Cocaine Hits And Kills Pedestrian
July 29, 2009 on 10:49 am | By admin | In Business | No CommentsA recent report gave an account of a pedestrian accident case in which a 62 year-old man who was walking alongside the road was hit and killed by a driver who lost control of his vehicle while allegedly being under the influence of marijuana and cocaine. The driver was charged with multiple counts including vehicular homicide and possession after toxicology tests showed the presence of the drugs in his system. The accident occurred at appropriately 8:30 in the morning when the driver drifted into the opposite lane and onto the shoulder. The victim was pronounced dead at the local hospital. My deepest condolences go to the victim’s family.
