Thinking Of Where I Placed My Plus Size Shrug

October 2, 2008 on 5:12 pm | By admin | In Reference

It has been raining non-stop these past few days and I took out all my shrugs, as well as my daughter’s, because this is the perfect time to do so.  Anyways, it got me thinking of this Plus Size Shrug that I had but I kept it in and I cannot seem to remember where I hid it. I bought it then because I was pregnant and I got so big but I did not get to use it because I was hot all the time.  The reason why I remembered it just now is because of the lady beside me.  It will fit her perfectly.

Associate Degrees: Forensic Accounting

September 24, 2008 on 2:12 pm | By admin | In Reference

I had personally never heard of a forensics associates degree, until my uncle told me he was going to school for it.

I just had to ask, and he was happy to tell me what it is.

Forensic is not what I thought, but he explained it is the use of science for investigation to establish facts for evidence and/or in a court of law.

Okay, that’s pretty interesting, but how does that fit into accounting?

This is not a complicated as I thought it might be. It just means that he will use the above information to find financial fraud, or mistakes in criminal, bankruptcy, and divorced cases.

Will You Earn Your Law Degree Online?

September 21, 2008 on 4:12 pm | By admin | In Reference

As amazing as it seems in this day & age of advanced thinking & with the Information Highway being used by millions & millions of people every day, I was so surprised to learn that the American Bar Association does not accept or accredit anyone who wishes to Earn Law Degree Online!

Apparently, the ABA does not value the self discipline it takes for law students to study at home & on line.

All the many dedicated men & women who wish to change this should band together & approach the American Bar Association with a request that they reconsider their archaic policy.

The Phantom Caller

August 19, 2008 on 8:21 pm | By admin | In Reference

The other day, I was sitting at my home, when all of the sudden, I received a phone call. The troubling thing was, the caller would hang up every time I would answer. I did not know who this person was, but i was annoyed. I used a service that can do a cell phone lookup to find out who is doing the calling. It turned out that it was just my little brother from next store trying to get under my skin. He succeeded, and I went over there and gave him a beating that he will not soon forget.

Speaking Spanish

August 3, 2008 on 11:18 am | By admin | In Reference

After taking spanish courses for several years in college, I’m sad to say that I still don’t know how to speak the language. I have always been fascinated with the spanish culture and I think that their language has such a beautiful and flowing sound. Since I haven’t had luck learning through college courses, I decided to try to teach myself. After reading a very positive Rosetta Stone review, I am sure that this will be the best and most efficient way for me to learn. My learning style tends to lean more on the side of one on one as opposed to a classroom setting, so I’m confident I will learn quickly.

Teaching your children another language

July 17, 2008 on 2:15 pm | By admin | In Reference

I think one of the best things you can do for your children is to teach them to learn another language. Language learning is so much easier when you start young and learn new words when you’re a child. Their brains are built to soak in new information at an astounding rate, much more quickly than an adult. Their brain functions like a sponge soaking up all the new words and language tools you teach them. I’m trying to teach my children French right now since my family is of French heritage. This way they will be able to continue their learning by actually having people in their lives who speak the language as well.

July 14, 2008 on 8:12 am | By admin | In Reference

Someone keeps calling me and saying very nasty things to me. I am wondering if there is any way to find out who is calling me and get them to stop. This is florida phone harassment, but how can the police help me if we don’t know who it is? Can the phone company trace the calls? My caller ID says the phone number is unlisted, so I don’t know what I can do from my end. Can the police do anything, or the phone company, to help stop these harassing phone calls? I have started to screen my calls, but some of my friends have unlisted numbers as well and I hate missing their calls.
