High School Students Learn About the Signs of Alcoholism in Health Class

Due to the outcry of the local parents about the increasing number of high school students who have been involved in alcohol-related behavior, Mr. Bloomenthal decided to take an entire week to discuss various aspects of alcoholism. One day after greeting his class, he turned to his students and told them the following: “For the past two days, we have been discussing alcoholism in general and the signs of alcoholism in particular. Please close your books and your notebooks and get out a piece of paper. On this piece of paper, write down between three and five alcoholism signs. This will not be graded. I just want to see how well you have been listening for the past few days.”
