A lot of people have a fit when they find out that treatment facilities are being built in their neighborhoods. If there were no treatment facilities, the people would remain addicted to drugs and alcohol. People on drugs commit crimes. It’s better for them to get treatment than to continue to use drugs. Most people go to rehab on their own or for the sake of their families. They are there by choice. They don’t plan on escaping and murdering the people in the town where the rehab center is located. I grew up near a bunch of people who wanted to change, not near a bunch of people that intended to harm me or my loved ones.
