Iconic Modern Chair

My very favorite and first piece of modern furniture was the Barcelona chair. I purchased the set, the Barcelona chair and ottoman. I chose it for the styling and comfort of the piece. It wasn’t until after I purchased them that I learned that they’re sometimes called the Exposition Chair and ottoman. It was designed in 1929, almost eighty years ago, for use at the 1929 World’s Fair which was being held in Barcelona. It’s amazing to me how an old style can be ageless.
