So I focused on some dog training secrets to help get us over this bad behavior. Maggie was good to let me know she needed to go out but the scratching was damaging the doors. I hung and taped balloons on the doors and after she popped a few she definitely got the message. Now when Maggie needs to go out she passes in front of the door in sort of a back and forth motion.
