How does this change impact the 2009-2009 Cruise Incentive?

As originally announced, you have until August 31 to earn points toward the 2009-2009 cruise incentive. So keep earning those cruise points! Some of you have already earned the cruise and many of you are on track to earn it. Our plans are well underway for this wonderful event taking place in January 2009. Make it your plan to join us!
What happens during the cruise overlap period from July 1 through August 31?
Great news! During this two-month overlap, you’ll be able to earn points toward BOTH cruise incentives! Take advantage of this opportunity—you may never have another opportunity to earn points towards two cruises at the same time.
During the overlap, tracking your cruise progress will be simple—you’ll have a cruise ledger for each cruise incentive. (Because the point distribution in the Custom Vinyl Lettering Team Development section is slightly different in the two cruise incentives, points given during the overlap will not always be the same.)
What happens if my new recruit signs up during the current cruise period, but doesn’t qualify until the next cruise period?
As you already know, your new recruit becomes qualified when she submits $600 or more in personal commissionable sales. The great news is that if she doesn’t become qualified before the end of the current cruise period, you don’t lose your points! They are simply applied to the cruise period in which she does qualify. For example, say your recruit signed up in June, but doesn’t qualify until September. You won’t receive the points for the 2009-2009 cruise incentive, but you will receive them for the 2009-2009 cruise incentive.
