Apples sales soar
January 27, 2009 on 7:42 pm | By admin | In Technology | 1 CommentWhen last we left Cupertino’s own consumer electronics giant, Apple was feeling the first hints of the impending financial crisis, as sales of iPods and computers slacked off from their phenomenal growth rates of the past few years. Still, sales continued to grow year-over-year says iPhone 3G Cases, and a boom in iPhone sales kept the company’s revenues on an upward trajectory. Those numbers left a lot of open questions, however, as analysts speculated about how the company’s traditionally strong holiday quarter would fare in light of many indications of consumer spending cutbacks. For the most part, Apple managed to slightly surpass last year’s holiday quarter, which can be considered a triumph in the current environment.
