But be aware that while much of this technology only gets better, cheaper, and smaller every day, there are always going to be products that are more hype than help. Do your research online and then get the opinions of musicians who have actually used the music recording software themselves. Is it easy to manipulate? Is it good programming? Was it time/cost effective or could the same interface be found cheaper? Do your homework and you will be a rock star that much faster.
